Elephant Nature Park

Without question the highlight of this trip was our visit to Elephant Nature Park, a sanctuary that rescues elephants who have been used in logging, street performing, and tourist camps. We fed and bathed the elephants, and joined them as they trekked through the preserve. Some were playful, some wanted to be loved on, and all were fiercely protective of the babies.  I can't wait to return.
