Chiang Mai, Thailand

We saved the best for last, ending our trip in charming Chiang Mai, which was a small walkable city crammed with history, shopping, and the arts. We visited temples Wat Chedi Luang and Wat Phra Sing in Chiang Mai, then later took a day trip to Doi Suthep temple on a nearby mountainside.

We also bought a quantity of souvenirs that challenged out luggage capacity,and finally got to ride in a tuk tuk.
