New Year's Eve in Chiang Mai, Thailand

In Chiang Mai, New Year's Eve is celebrated with a lantern release at Tha Phae Gate. Emboldened by a few cocktails, we joined in the festivities and managed to release our own lanterns without setting anyone on fire.
